The Santa Monica Mountains Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP) has announced the availability of an extensive guide for creating fire safe communities in the Santa Monica Mountains.
A copy of the guide is now ready for public review and comment from forevergreenforestry.com/smmcwpp_pub.html. The entire CWPP can be downloaded as one PDF document, which is approximately 27 mb, or can be downloaded as individual chapters along with other pertinent documents.
The public is welcome to submit comments on this version of the CWPP. Input must be received by August 31, 2010 to be considered for the final draft.
